Day Eighty

this weekend was the first weekend of our church's easter production. our friends came and saw it with us. afterwards we went out to eat and catch-up :)

Day Seventy-nine

a few years ago we went ice skating and saw a couple skating hand-in-hand wearing matching sweaters. we both swore we would NEVER be that couple. well, tonight peter came over in a white zip-up turtleneck and i was wearing the same thing! had to get a picture of it :)

Day Seventy-eight

these are my state-of-the-art salt and pepper shakers. my mom got these for me for christmas. you push the button on top and the salt or pepper shoots out the bottom while a light shines out onto your food - it is hilarious!

Day Seventy-seven

peter is in busy season, working INSANE hours so not hanging out with him means not cooking, which means ordering in ... hence, the leftover chicken pad thai from blue elephant - i think it is our new favorite thai place.

every tuesday night we have youth at church. sitting at her desk is anne, our fearless director and laughing in the foreground is cicely, one of my fellow leaders. love these ladies! they are such awesome women of God and amazing prayer warriors :)

tonight we took all the youth out to pizza in place of our typical service.

oh these ladies are so cool!

i drive to work pretty much everyday and sometimes tracy comes with me. when she does we stop at dunkin donuts and she runs in while i turn the "getaway car" around so that once she gets our coffees we speed off to work :)

i know it sounds crazy, but this is seriously one of my most favorite parts of my condo. there is nothing like when you can just leave your laundry in the washer or dryer and not have to worry about your neighbor taking it out and getting it dirty :)

my dirty-dish filled sink! tonight was what we so fondly call "family dinner" night. every sunday my roommate and i make dinner and our fiance's come over. cheesy? yes, very. but tons of fun too!! this is the remains as the dishwasher was in the middle of a cycle when we finished eating. dishwasher in use = dishes overflow onto the counter :)

st. patrick's day in chicago! chaos! jamie and ashley and i had lunch and watched the ohio state game. two of my favorite girls!!

so i have slacked yeat again! i was reading this article on friday and had to take pictures of the photos in the article... i am not sure how many people would actually go to chuch after seeing these?

it was 70 degrees in chicago today! this is a pic of the newberry library and the park across the street from it. i spent my lunch hour here just enjoying the weather. i can't wait for spring!

today was say two of shopping for my roommate's wedding. yesterday we found her dress!! today we were looking for bridesmaids dresses, and we found them :) i had to take a picture of the bridesmart shop because of the BRIGHT colored prom dresses in the window, my how things have changed.

today we went to look for a wedding gown for my roommate and went to the bridal mansion. some mansion. i had to take a picture of the storefront. haha!
