it's amazing what you can do from a couch. i paid my bills, read a book, watched some TV, ate dinner. hmm... maybe that isn't a good thing?

dinner with some of the girls tonight. sooo good! we went to bistro campagne in lincoln square, highly recommend it. great atmosphere and awesome food :)

tonight i took dinner over to jasmine's so we could have some quality girl time. she was taken off bed rest last week, praise the Lord! now we are all on the edge of our seats waiting for little josiah to make his debut. isn't she the cutest pregnant lady ever!

this is anne, our fearless youth leader. tonight was her last night leading this ministry as the Lord is moving her on. we will miss her so much!

i must say, anne is an inspiration to all of us. she walks the walk and talks the talk. her dedication and passion for the youth is unexplainable and as a leader, she blessed my life so much. i know, with all my heart, that the Lord used anne to bring me where i am in faith today. and i am so grateful for her. love you anne and will miss your shining face at CT!

this friday is the women's ministry book club so i took advantage of the warm weather and prepared for my facilitating duties. this is a great book, by the way.

Day 255

i spent all day yesterday with my dear friend shelly. after our bike ride we went to breakfast at heartland cafe. then, being total nerds, browsed through patagonia and ehrewon, daydreaming about all the places we want to go climbing, hiking, backpacking, and she failed to mention that tuesday is her b-day. so today, after church, a few of us went out to brunch to semi-celebrate.

today i went on a bike ride with shelly and mandy. one day i will be able to keep up with them!

today pia and i drove up to devil's lake again to go climbing. i am obsessed with this sport!

i was so proud of cicely, this was her first time climbing outside and she did a fantastic job!! i think i have a new buddy for the rock gym :)

tonight cicely and i drove ourselves and two folks from park community church up to devil's lake for a climbing/camping trip. this is us on the ferry that took us across the lake. first time ever on a ferry and we had no idea we were going to take a ferry, God bless GPS :)

on my way to work today, this little guy clung to the hood of my car the entire way! i was mesmerized and i am sure the folks driving around me were caught off guard to see me driving and taking pictures - oops!

today, i did one of the dumbest things ever! i decided to wear a shirt that i forgot i had, one of those you find in the back of your closet and you're like, wow, haven't seen that in a while, guess i'll wear it. that's cool, unless the shirt is the clothing version of the bag you use EVERY DAY!!! so i didn't even realize i had done this until i got to jimmy john's... needless to say the cashier and i enjoyed a good laugh together :)

this was just fabulous... took a shower this morning and didn't even notice this guy until i was done and pulled back the curtain. not at all something i like EVER, let alone that i want to see first thing in the morning! he met the toilet bowl shortly after this was taken.
